Day 33 the perks if being forgotten

Day33
Careful for spoilers
This got me excited! First off paul rudd. Thats cool enough, but he gave like an oral quiz and I got charles dickens right but the origins of box office wrong. Whatever. That is still more correct answers than I got in actual high school english class.
Literary nerd. Really? I wanted to punch that chick.
2 notes. When you introduce emma watson to a movie you always shine a bright light to announce her glory just like this movie did and second "shag" can she be more of a brit in america...
Its best to read along side the movie. Alot of play by play
You want a little plot right? So that one kid from percy jackson takes on a new role of moody average teenager boy. And he struggles with his vast knowledge of the literary arts and his goal of being unnoticed. One day he chooses to step outside of his shell and talk to a senior named patrick or "nothing"  and his smoking hot step sister emma watson. He connects with the two and once again breaks his shell and dances like a dork at what I assume is homecoming?
Patrick I feel must be gay at this point of the film cuz I haven't finished yet but he just seems like it. We will see.
After homecoming? The gang takes charlie to a party where he trips ballz. Dude when you go to a party dont take brownies. But it does lighten him up so he can be real. Isnt that  ultimately the question of high school? Will taking down our barrier reveal to the world who we really are? Will we be happy or sad from what we discover?. Charle, to me, feel good that he is accepted when he is loose and free of his own obstacles.
Ha! Called it patrick was gay! Knew it! Thats a point lost director for "predictability"
What is rocky horror? From this I assume is it drag? Like I liked seeing emma in the outfit but um kinda creepy scene. Annnnd cue high school drama! Oh no my ACT/SAT wasnt good :( wah!
Real talk. I know no high schooler will read this but high school is a time to enjoy. Dont stress. Live life and the knowledge will come.
Oh the first kiss, emma is such a catch for letting him have his first be her and claiming that it is from some one who loves him. Idk what the rest of the movie will say, I know someone is gonna backstab.
For a guy who is "a walflower" an unknown, a loner. He sure takes alot of drugs in high school to the point he needed to go to the hospital. Im not a loner but ive never came close to this guy.
Ive kinda lost some cred for mae witman watching her rocky horror. Im scared! Come on katara!
Yo bro you had emma (yes she was taken, but you had her!) and you go to prom?? With mae? I like mae and all but come on. Also this movie is not clear with what social events are going on in the year.
When you makeout with a girl dont picture another. Just saying. Also do you really was a girlfriend who shares private moments at the lunch table? Clingy girlfriend alert!!!!!
Ggaaaaahhhhh teen melodrama I do not care!!!! About your forced future college problems who cares!!!
Btw his truth or dare response was awesome! Point back director!
Walflower got skill! Another good scene is the lunch room fight. I guess I was lost on the reason for the fight? Wasn't he also gay?
Oh the classic I screwed up and you'll forgive me. Good job charle getting I  emmas good side. Awwwn patrick was sad and kissed charlie...wait? Charle you are straight right? Dude, this guys freshman year has more drama then all of the 2000-2010.
Also lets appreciate the dead poets "ness" of paul rudds character. Trying to motivate people to read. That is a challenge. Oh look! Another social gathering which is not explained! Minus a point!
Left turn! All of the trippy vision shots of him as a kid was becuz he thought he killed his aunt helen! Where did this break down come from? He obviously was suppressing alot thus the original antisocial nature but wow.
What aunt helen did to him? Rape? Psychological trauma? What did she do?!
*also more dead poets
Ohh its nice that they can do the tunnel thing!
Final verdict: gotta say im disappointed by how long this was on my dvr. I should have deleted it along time ago. A solid 5.5/10 but nothing special. A noticeably unremarkable movie. It does some things well but doesnt hook you for the whole movie. I did practically a play by play of the movie and still was lost of what the point was I get he was messed up but come on the story implies that him breaking his "walflower" ness would make him happy not reveal his demons.
I recommend watching as a date movie. You may like it you may not but there will be alot to discuss between you two.
Random recommendations: percy jackson and the lightning thief, Harry potter 1-8, dead poets society.
